Autism recovered?

Medical experts say it's not possible to recover autism. We have living proof in the form of three children, that it IS possible. In my blog you will find recovery stories, along with information regarding health that I have learned over the years. And sometimes just snippets of life to give hope that yes, life can be normal after the hard work is done.

Sit back, enjoy, and be hopeful! RECOVERY HAPPENS!

Treasures from the garden

This is our first time planting for the spring.  I have no mentor so I am just trying to learn as I go.  Last fall we didn't get anything useful from the garden so I did study up and plan a little better this year.  Yesterday I noticed the spinach looked ready to pick and b/c it's getting warmer I was afraid if I left it out too much longer it would go bad.  So first thing this morning I sent Tony and Grace out to cut me some leaves!  They were so excited about it.  :)  Kate was NOT excited about it and said I was ruining her smoothie.

 Aren't they beautiful??

Kate decided they were so pretty she needed to try a piece.  I gave her a leaf and she gobbled it down and asked for more.  That started everyone asking for leaves so only about 3/4 of what they picked ended up in the smoothie.  They also requested I put aside a few pieces in the fridge for Daddy to try when he gets home.

Home grown spinach just tastes yummier!!

The kids all agreed it was the BEST smoothie ever.

Note:  The stuff under the spinach is dragon juice, avocado, hemp powder, xylitol, cinnamon & goji berries.  It was a seriously power packed smoothie.  :)
